Tony Thorpe is a member of the Snakeback Crew who appears in Seasons One and Nine of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

Background[]

Tony was a member of a street gang called The Snakeback crew when he was only 17. His first known crime as a member of this gang was killing an unnamed man by shooting him to death and then dropped his hat so people would know who shot him.

Season One[]

Too Tough to Die[]

He later comes upon a woman named Pamela Adler and forces her to drive to a secluded location. He then raped her and then shot her in the head with the same gun he used to kill that man. She survived however and was put into a coma. When the CSIs caught up to him he gladly confessed knowing that he would be out in a matter of months since Adler survived.

Season Nine[]

The Happy Place[]

At some unknown point Tony was injured in a drive-by shooting that paralyzed him from the waist down. Eight years later after the attack he was brought in on suspicion that he raped Pamela again and directed her husband Tom to kill her because of new laws. But when CSI Sara Sidle and Detective Sam Vega saw that he was handicapped, they realized they were being played by the husband and let Tony go.

Known Victims[]

  • Presumably committed numerous unknown crimes prior to Too Tough to Die
  • Unnamed man (shot execution-style)
  • Pamela Adler (attempted, but survived; raped, beaten and non-fatally shot; was put into a coma for eight years)

Notes[]

  • In Felonious Monk, it's mentioned by Nick that the Snakebacks were shut down some time earlier after they killed some German tourists and the police, as a result, arrested several of their members for all manner of crimes. However, the Snakebacks still appear to be active in No Way Out.
