Ramon Cruz is a son of a diplomatically significant family to America and a murderer and rapist, appearing in Blood Brothers in CSI:Miami.

History[]

Ramon and his brother Clavo Cruz were extremely reckless and aggressive socialites and career criminals. They, however, had diplomatic immunity, as their father was General Antonio Cruz, an ambassador for the Baracas stationed in the U.S. Ramon, regardless, met two models, Michelle Cormier and Tess Kimball, seducing Michelle for a good time back at the Canadian embassy. When they were having sex in a pool, things went awry as Ramon got more aggressive, eventually drowning Michelle while he escalated his violence to physical assault and rape. Clavo found out about this and tracked down Tess in Miami, running her over with his Lamborghini.

The forensic evidence was overwhelming against the brothers, but they unfortunately couldn't be prosecuted in America because of their status. However, the CSIs saw the loophole they needed with Ramon: he killed a Canadian citizen on Canadian territory in the embassy, and left the States while flying a Bahamian flag in international waters. The Bahamian and Canadian authorities had extradition power, as immunity was not granted for the brothers outside of America. From this, Ramon was arrested by the Bahamian police, extradited to Canada, and incarcerated in Canadian prison for the manslaughter of Michelle.

Modus Operandi[]

Ramon seduced Michelle to the Canadian embassy, where they had sex in the pool on the grounds. When Ramon became sexually aggressive, he started fighting her while they were getting intimate, hard enough she was held under the waters of the pool and drowned while Ramon escalated to raping her.

Known Victims[]

  • Michelle Cormier (sexually and physically assaulted, raped, and drowned in the Canadian embassy pool)

Trivia[]

  • Michelle Cormier's murder appears heavily derived from the case against Robert Chambers, a socialite having strangled a woman to death and used the "rough sex defense" in a failed attempt for a reduced sentence in court.
