Play with Fire is the twenty-second episode of season three of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
Synopsis
Grissom, Nick and Sara investigate the murder of a woman in the press box of a high school stadium. They arrive less than an hour after the woman's death. In the aftermath of an explosion in the DNA Lab that leaves Greg seriously injured and hospitalised, Catherine and Warrick try to find out who's responsible while Sara struggles to cope with the psychological trauma she's suffering from being caught up in the explosion.

Major Events
- The DNA Lab is destroyed in an explosion that leaves Sara and Greg injured.
- It's later revealed that Catherine was the one responsible for causing the explosion in the first place.
- As a result of causing the explosion and unknowingly endangering human life while also reminding her that DNA evidence in thirteen cases has been ether tainted or destroyed, Director Cavallo suspends Catherine for five unpaid days.
