Official Synopsis
When a K-9 is blamed for the death of his partner, the CSI team discovers there’s more to the case. Meanwhile, Finlay and Morgan investigate the death of a high-profile divorce lawyer with a lot of enemies.
Plot
Two girls on their way to a Halloween party come across the body of a man who has seemingly been attacked by an angry dog. Brass, Nick and David arrive at the scene and immediately assume the dog is responsible due to the bite marks on the victim's neck. Having searched the body, the team discover the victim was a cop, carrying a loaded weapon and had a small quantity of drugs in his possession, and that the dog, who was the victim's K-9 dog, was not responsible after all.
Finlay and Brody arrive at the scene of a divorce lawyer's murder, killed by a single gunshot wound to the chest. It turns out that his job and lack of ethics earned him a lot of enemies.
