Plot[]
The CSIs investigate the death of a young and very beautiful model, whose body was found near a juvenile detention camp for girls. Across town, Delko and Speedle probe the bizarre death of a man who was apparently burned from the inside.
Horatio interrogates the camp members and the supervisor, who said he had never seen the girl, Dara, before. A drop of Dara's blood is found on the fly of his camo pants, but it is found to be transferred passively from the ATV on which her body was found. Horatio and Calleigh uncover Dara's past and finds out that she was a model, who had a secret P.O. Box to send letters to her best friend, Julie, about wanting to escape and being pressured by her mother to sleep with agents to gain fame. Dara ran away one night to visit Julie, who was at the camp, falsely accused of assaulting Dara's mother with no provocation. There, they cut Dara's hair and were discussing the plan of her escape with smuggled-in beer when the head cadet of the cabin found them, spilled the beer, and dragged Dara out of the cabin and campgrounds.
Meanwhile, her mother found she wasn't out with friends as she'd said and drove to the camp. On her way, she found Dara walking listlessly by the road with newly cut hair and a bag of supplies. She tried to take her back, but Dara refused, so her mother slapped her. Dara turned and ran away into the woods nearby, tripping and hitting her head. The leeches, smelling the beer on her when it was spilled on her, proceeded to drain her blood. She died from the concussion and bleeding.
Delko finds out that the man had been a much hated member of a speedboat club, and that lead to suspicion—however, it was revealed that the man was stealing high quality gasoline from other people's tanks, by siphoning with his mouth and a hose. As a result, his mouth and intestines are full of gas particles and when he answered his cell phone, the static ignited the gasoline and burned him from the inside.
