Alisa Santiago was a serial killer who appeared in season eleven of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

Alisa Santiago lived at home with her mother, father and brother. Her mother, Marta Santiago, began developing a compulsion to hoard many items and objects from her life, leading to an additional development of "clutter-blindness", being unable to register items of clutter. This eventually drove her father to his death after he had enough of his wife's compulsion. Her brother, Julian Santiago, couldn't wait to leave the crammed house and left immediately once he was old enough to work in a half-way house for orphaned teenagers. This left Alisa by herself with her mother, which would eventually drive her to madness. Still in contact with her brother, she spoke to him regularly and Julian allowed her to work in his half-way house. This is where her taste for killing began.

She would target one of the orphaned teenage boys and lure them, with promises of sex, to her house. They would accept and come to her house. There she would prepare a meal or get them a drink and poison it with arsenic. The boys would then drink or eat this and die, then she would bury their bodies in her garden.

House of Hoarders

During one of Santiago's murders, her mother caught her burying the body. In an obscure attempt to protect her daughter from her herself and from murdering again, she chained her to a cot in a spare room, gagged her and blocked the door and floorspace under heaps of junk. The LVPD went to Marta Santiago's house to inspect the overflowing house of rubbish, where upon they found one of Alisa's victims after Nick Stokes accidentally stepped on the corpse. The CSI team came and found four more of Alisa's victims and then found Alisa herself, tied up.

The CSI's either believed Julian was the murderer or Marta was, however they were both wrong; it was Alisa. Soon, enough evidence pointed out that Alisa was in fact the serial killer. Raymond Langston questioned her, to which she responded how she enjoyed her killings. After this Marta and Julian were released and Alisa was institutionalized for her murders.

Modus Operandi

Alisa Santiago would lure one of the male teenage orphans, of her age, and promise them sex with her and she would invite them to come to her house, to which they always replied a definite "yes". Once there she would make them a meal or drink laced with arsenic, which would kill them. She then buried the bodies in her garden.

Known Victims

  • Four unnamed teenage boys killed prior to her incarceration
  • Matthew Price

  • Alisa is the youngest serial killer out of all of the CSI franchises so far.
